Outback

In the Outback you land on a vast plain with Australian animal species. During your expedition through the Outback you will walk among different species of kangaroos. This way you can see them up close, while they jump around along the footpath.

Who lives in the Outback?

Dromedaries in the Outback

Since 2016, dromedaries have been walking in the Outback. But that's not an Australian species at all, is it? Yes and no! Originally from the Middle East, the dromedary was brought to Australia to serve as a pack animal. This is because the animals are well adapted to living in hot areas, such as deserts.
