In response to the measures taken and the advice of the RIVM, the Dutch government, the Brabant Safety Regions and the Dutch Zoo Federation (NVD, Nederlandse Vereniging van Dierentuinen) regarding the coronavirus, Zooparc will be closed from Saturday 14 March until further notice. This is in the interests of the welfare of our visitors and employees. We will investigate in consultation with the Safety Region in question when and under which circumstances the park can be (partially) opened again. The welfare of the animals will not be jeopardised. Take a look at frequently asked questions and their answer.
Meet red pandas and otters at the entry to the park, walk around with the penguins, come face-to-face with ring-tailed lemurs, say hello to the giraffes and come meet the fosa. ZooParc is the only zoo in The Netherlands where you can meet the fosa!
ZooParc is situated on the outskirts of Overloon village, which is located in between the cities of Nijmegen, Venlo and Helmond. From any of these cities, it will take you about 30 minutes by car.
