Keeper for a day

The successful Keeper for a Day program is back and bookable again for 2025! With Saturday added to the program as an extra day. Always wanted to work as a zoo keeper for a day? ZooParc offers you this unique opportunity! We let you as a visitor go behind the scenes. Become a zookeeper for a morning or afternoon!

What will you experience?

• Go to places you would normally never go as a visitor
  How about literally "inside" the animals' enclosures? We will clean different animal enclosures, put food down in the enclosures, count animals and more!

• Prepare food for different animals
  Explore the kitchen where all the food is made daily for the animals. Together we will prepare food for the lemurs, spider monkeys, pygmy monkeys, sloths, wild dogs and lions, among others!

• See the animals up close, you even get to feed them!
  Yes, you read it right! You even get to feed the animals. You'll get to feed the giraffes, otters, sloths, camels, anteaters, pygmy hippos and even the predators, among others.

• Learn about enrichment and much more
  We are going to make enrichment. But what is that? The zookeeper will tell you all about it. We'll even hang it up in the enclosures! In addition, you will learn a lot more and you can ask all your questions.
